Rest In Peace

A year ago today, 29 coal miners lost their lives in West Virginia. Unfortunately, one of those miners was a dear friend of mine. Two of Cory's family members passed away as well. Cory was such an amazing person. He was the type to become friends with anyone and would give you the shirt off his back. He passed away without suffering and doing what he loved. It's still hard to comprehend that he's gone or that any of this happened.

My entire family is from West Virginia, so I know how much coal mining means to everyone there and whenever a disaster like this occurs, it's amazing to watch everyone stay so strong and try to help each other out as much as possible. A vigil will be held for all 29 coal miners tonight, so please keep everyone in your prayers.
